Fan-less operation is a must in dirty, damp or dusty industrial environments so all these parts are designed to operate without forced air cooling, with the higher power 230W, 550W and 1200W products having baseplate cooling. Industrial EMC standards are met without additional filter components.
The RACPRO1-Txxx series are three phase DIN-Rail mounting power supplies specially designed for demanding applications in the harsh industrial automation field with an extended mains input surge immunity of up to 6kVAC , 3.5kVAC/5kVDC reinforced isolation and <35V back EMF immunity for a long operational lifetime of 80 000 hours, even with highly capacitive or inductive loads. The input can be either three-phase mains or high voltage DC. The RACPRO1-Txx units can also be paralleled to offer more DC power for demanding industrial applications such as heavy duty factory automation or assembly line robots. The 480W and 960W versions also feature a charging mode switch for direct charging of 24V or 48V batteries for battery back-up systems in mission critical systems. Adding the RACPRO1-4SP e-fuse modules allows a central high power supply to feed multiple LPS systems using the e-fuse NEC Class 2 setting.
Three-phase AC input battery chargers are available from RECOM with higher power ratings of 3.2kW (RMOC3200 series) or 5kW (RMOC5000 series) which can be cascaded up to 20kW. The RMOC3200 series also operates with DC inputs up to 800V. Outputs from both series are available suitable for for 24VDC up to 110VDC (and all in between voltages 36/48/72/96). A unique part, the SD2800 series, operates at nominal 44V or 24V three-phase AC input and provides 28V or 14V respectively at 2.8kW and 1.4kW. The product is also available with DC inputs, nominal 44V, 48V, 60V or 80V.
The SAB10000 series provides 10kW of battery charging from three-phase AC (20VDC output) or 600VDC nominal input (24VDC output) but is also bi-directional so that battery charge can be returned to the AC, or optionally DC supply for energy balancing applications. Modular stand-alone power factor correction ‘front ends’ are available at 800W, 1600W and 3200W (single phase AC input) and at 4kW (three-phase AC input). Products are available in 19“ rack, open frame or chassis formats, or to customer specification.
