AC/DC Power Supplies

RECOM’s on-board (PCB mount) and off-board (chassis mount) AC/DC power supplies are engineered to meet the latest industrial power supply requirements. Today’s AC/DC converters must be safe, cost-effective, energy efficient, reliable, and significantly smaller than earlier models. By leveraging advances in switching controllers, topologies, and components, RECOM delivers AC/DC power supplies with up to twice the power density of previous generations — without compromising safety, reliability, efficiency, or performance.

The majority of RECOM’s on-board and off-board AC/DC power supplies operate from a nominal input range of 100VAC to 277VAC, making them suitable for global applications, and carry international safety certifications to UL, IEC, and EN standards, including CB Reports. Special attention is given to no-load and light-load power supply efficiency in all new designs to meet current regulatory requirements and support energy savings in systems that automatically switch to standby mode. Consequently, RECOM’s AC/DC converters are designed to maintain high efficiency across the entire load range — from full load through light load down to no-load conditions.

The extensive range of 1W to 1200W AC/DC converters provides high power density, a minimum of 3kVAC isolation, wide operating temperature ranges, and Class B EMC compliance. All products are internationally certified and designed to provide reliable and cost-effective power conversion for industrial and embedded applications.
