Cost-Effective Switching Regulators

RECOM’s non-isolated switching regulators provide high-efficiency DC/DC step-down conversion without the thermal losses of linear regulators. Achieving efficiency ratings up to 97%, these modules operate without requiring external heatsinks, reducing overall system weight, footprint, and assembly complexity.

Available in both pin-compatible through-hole (THT) designs for direct 78xx linear regulator replacement and low-profile surface-mount (SMD/LGA) packages for automated SMT assembly, these fully integrated power modules feature wide input voltage ranges, built-in inductors, basic input and output filtering, and short-circuit protection to simplify PCB layout and EMC compliance.
