RACM AC/DC power supplies cover the 6 - 3000W range and are designed for demanding industrial, household, information and communication technology (ICT), and medical equipment. The portfolio spans compact PCB mount and wired modules through Open Frame, enclosed, panel, and chassis mount formats, giving designers a consistent RACM platform from distributed low-power conversion to system-level kilowatt power. Depending on the product, input ranges extend to 305VAC, overvoltage category III (OVC III) operation is supported, and international safety certifications include IEC/EN/UL 62368-1, IEC/EN 60335-1 and medical IEC/EN/UL 60601-1 with 2MOPP and BF suitability. Selected low-power variants are also available with IP68 encapsulation, while selected RACM products are approved for operation at altitudes up to 5000m.
High power density and dynamic-load capability are key RACM strengths. Selected compact designs achieve a class-leading power density of 20W/in³, with peak efficiency above 90% and typical no-load power consumption below 100mW. Compact 150W-class solutions reach up to 26W/in³ and provide 225W boost power for up to 5s, while other RACM platforms deliver 210W boost power for up to 10s or up to 330W peak power for short dynamic loads. At higher power levels, fanless and baseplate-cooled designs deliver hundreds of watts without an internal fan, while the 1200W platform provides up to 1000W continuous fanless output and 1200W boost capability in a compact 1U-compatible format.
RACM also scales beyond power conversion alone. Selected high-power models provide standby outputs, Remote Sense, remote on/off, intelligent fan control, load sharing and PMBus communication. At the top end of the portfolio, the 3000W platform delivers full output from 180 - 264VAC and 1500W from 90VAC, with a 5V/2A standby output, active current sharing, optional OR-ing FET and CAN bus programming of output voltage and current. Across the family, EMC Class B performance under specified conditions, flexible thermal concepts and application-specific certifications can simplify filtering, cooling and system integration. The result is a RACM portfolio that combines compact size, high power density, dynamic-load capability and broad regulatory coverage across an exceptionally wide power range.
