Engineering Technician – Power Electronics (m/f/x)

We develop innovative power supplies and power electronics for industrial customers – from the initial idea to series production. To strengthen our team at our Vienna location, we are looking for a dedicated individual to support mechanical development efforts. TASKS:

  • Management of technical documentation, including 2D/3D component drawings and assembly instructions
  • 3D design of sheet metal and plastic parts, as well as creation of 3D models for ECAD applications
  • Technical research on mechatronic components (plugs, terminals, cables, pushbuttons, etc.)
  • Management of product data, creation of bill of materials, and preparation of overviews
  • Management of cost-down projects across various areas, including supplier sourcing, price comparisons, and optimization of existing solutions
  • Design and management of prints, labels, and design specifications
  • Supporting technical acceptance tests of electrical devices according to defined test plans and coordinating certification processes with the respective institutes
  • Testing prototypes, analyzing test results, assisting with fault diagnosis, maintaining test plans, and contributing to the improvement of test procedures and processes
  • Working closely with R&D, production and quality management on technical issues

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Completed secondary education and a desire to gain solid professional experience in a technical field
  • Strong interest in electromechanical systems and willingness to delve deeply into the subject matter
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and solid experience in CAD or technical
  • Basic experience with vector graphics (e.g., Illustrator) and 3D printing is a plus
  • Excellent German (C1) and good English (B2) for confident communication in an international environment
  • Independent, structured, and precise work style with a strong focus on costs, deadlines, and quality
  • Strong communication skills, willingness to learn, and commitment, as well as a strong team spirit

Employment information: We offer an attractive gross monthly salary on a full-time basis (i.e. 40 hours per week) starting at €3,500.00. Appropriate additional compensation based on qualifications and professional experience is possible.
